Mt. Paran Christian School Service Day

Many thanks to Mt. Paran Christian School for visiting us last week. They had an Easter Egg Hunt for the children, sang a few songs with them and even did an Easter craft. We enjoyed their visit so much that the day went by way too fast for us! We were sad to see them go :o( But they'll be back!!!!!!!!

Resurrection Week

Jesus was crucified for us and died on the cross to redeem us from our sins. But 3 days later, he rose again and He is still alive today!

This week we will be celebrating Resurrection Week! Teachers will read stories about the real meaning of Easter and talk about Jesus' journey from the cross, to the grave, and then to the sky with Resurrection eggs. On Thursday, each class will have an Easter egg hunt outside. Don't forget to a dozen bring toy-filled eggs for your child's class. Find some time to talk to your child about the real meaning of Easter or plan a family activity about Easter. Pray as a family or read the Easter story to your child(ren). Most importantly, focus on Jesus instead of bunnies.

Eastside Christian School Visit!

Today students from Eastside Christian School came for a service day. They made Easter lillies with the students, did a mini-Easter egg hunt, read stories, and played games. The children really enjoyed the time and extra attention they received. These sixth graders had so much fun with the children of Feed My Lambs that some did not want to leave. We really enjoyed their visit and look forward to seeing them again next school year.
